COVID - 19 Notifications
Unfortunately we have had a few positive COVID-19 cases at Indian Run and want to make sure we are clearly communicating the notification process with you.
When we receive notification of a positive case, our school nurse begins to investigate the situation and begins contact tracing as needed to determine if any students need to quarantine.
We then have 3 types of communications we push out on our end:
1. Building level email sent from me to notify families that there was a positive case from someone within our school community.
2. Classroom level email sent from our school nurse to notify families in the same classroom as the positive case.
3. Individual phone call from our school nurse to anyone who is determined to be a close contact and must quarantine. If no phone call from our school nurse, no quarantine is required.
