IRE Family Update 8/9/21

Hello IRE families,

Last week DCS announced our Safety Protocols for the 2021-2022 School Year. Tonight is a Board of Education Meeting, during which Dr. Marschhausen will discuss the plan for Safe Return to In-Person Instruction. As a District we continue to receive, watch, and interpret guidance from ODH and FCDOH. As always, if there are any changes, we will communicate as soon as possible.

I encourage you to watch the Board meeting tonight. Dr. Marschhausen will also be hosting a virtual town hall meeting on Wednesday, August 11th from 7-8pm via YouTube Live. I know there are many questions and details about what it will look like at Indian Run this year. At the building level, we are working hard to have our building ready for our students and finalize our building plans. 

I will host a parent Q&A this Thursday, August 12th from 6-7pm via Zoom to share our building plan and answer any questions you may have. This will be a RSVP only virtual event. If you’d like to attend, please email me directly at assmann_marty@dublinschools.net and I will add your email to the Zoom event. I will do my best to address your questions.

We are excited to get our students in the building and welcome everyone back to school. This is going to be a great year! Thank you for your help and support!

  1. Classroom teachers: You should have received a notification from the district today with login information to access your child’s classroom teacher. Due to the high volume of students accessing, it may take a few attempts.​​​​​​​

  3. Walkthrough and Curriculum Event - August 17th 

    1. We do ask that you limit the number of guests joining your child to the walkthrough event.

    2. Masks are recommended and we will practice social distancing.

      1. AM Kindergarten - 10-10:35am

      2. PM Kindergarten & 1st Grade 11:00-11:35am

      3. 2nd & 3rd Grade 12:00-12:35pm

      4. 4th & 5th Grade 1:00-1:35pm

  7. EZ Pay is now PaySchools

    1. NEW THIS YEAR, EZ Pay is now PaySchools. You must create a new account with PaySchools at this link (even if you had an EZ Pay account). Please click here for an instructional video on how to create your new account.

    2. To register for your PaySchools account, you will need:

      1. Your contact information

      2. Your child’s student ID number

      3. Your payment information (i.e. credit card or bank account)

    3. If you choose to link your PaySchools account with your bank account, there will be a smaller service fee per transaction. Any payments or lunch funds that were processed through EZ Pay on or before Aug. 4, will be transferred to PaySchools. You must create a PaySchools account to add funds to your child’s account moving forward. As a reminder, standard school lunches are free again for the 2021-22 school year.
