Hello All!

My name is Trey Jones, and I am proud to say that I am the new Athletic Director at John Sells Middle School! I am extremely excited to take on this role and am looking forward to what the future holds for our student-athletes, parents, teachers and staff.

Previously I was a middle and high school Social Studies teacher in South Carolina, Georgia and most recently with Columbus City Schools. My teaching philosophy of helping to create lifelong learners and productive citizens of our world transfers over to my new role leading the Athletic Department. There are so many changes and life lessons that our young people will come across during their middle school years, and my highest priority is to always demonstrate and follow our motto here at Sells. Be Nice, Work Hard and Do the Right Thing. 

I am a former wrestler and I played golf for the Polar Bears of Ohio Northern University. Sports and coaching has always been a part of my life and I take no greater honor than guiding and fostering the development of the next generation of student-athletes. 

I look forward to seeing you soon in the classroom, on the field and in the community.
