Masks Optional This Summer

Beginning June 2, masks will be optional for any students or staff during our summer activities that include summer school, extended school year for identified students, our summer Boost program, and extracurricular activities.

The mask mandates from Franklin County Public Health and the Ohio Department of Health have been removed. Additionally, the number of COVID-19 cases in our community and in Franklin County continue to fall.

We recommend masks for any students or staff who have not been vaccinated for COVID-19.

Nationwide Children’s Hospital will be hosting a vaccine clinic for students ages 12 and up on June 11 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

We expect to begin the 2021-22 school year in the same mask optional mode. Please note, we will continue to monitor changing virus conditions, while collaborating with our committees of local physicians, and our local and state health departments.

Have a great summer!
