The Board of Education passed a resolution last night to return high school students to the hybrid learning mode beginning Tuesday, Jan. 19.
The first week our high school students return to the classroom is a four-day week, so we will alter the schedule for the week of Jan. 19. A Day students (last names A-K) will attend class on Wednesday and Thursday of next week (Jan. 20 & Jan. 21), while B Day students (last names L-Z) will attend class on Tuesday and Friday (Jan. 19 & Jan. 22.)
As we shift to livestreaming from the classroom providing instruction for all kids throughout the week, we are looking at options to adjust it’s high school schedule moving forward to allow for hybrid students to be scheduled for in-classroom learning on alternating Wednesdays. Our goal is to have this change in place by early February. More details will be forthcoming.
High school students who have chosen the Remote Learning Academy option for the second semester will continue learning online five days a week until the end of the second semester. RLA students will tune into the livestream during their classes.
We would like to thank our teachers for all of their hard work in preparing to implement livestreaming in the classroom.
