October Celebrations

Due to our constraints around COVID 19, we will not have a costume parade or harvest party this year. We make these difficult choices based on the health and safety of our Hopewell School Community. All Dublin Elementaries will keep students safe by following this same guideline. This week, we will dress in typical clothing and celebrate our Hopewell Hawks by having a Hopewell Spirit Day on Friday, October 30th.

District Information:

Dublin City Schools to remain in hybrid learning for the remainder of the first semester

Members of our volunteer medical committees met with school board leadership and members of the Dublin City Schools administration to review local COVID-19 data. This group also worked to further refine our Dublin City Schools Learning Mode Decision Making Guide.

Based upon this examination of local COVID-19 data, a decision was made to PAUSE the district’s move to full in-person instruction for grades K-8 and remain in the hybrid learning mode for all levels (K-12) for the remainder of the first semester.

Reminder: NO SCHOOL on Nov. 3 (ELECTION DAY) for staff professional development day.

Bullfrog License Plates Coming to Ohio thanks to Grizzell Students and Teachers

A project that started in Shawn Kaeser’s classroom in 2002 to make the bullfrog the official state amphibian has grown over the years. As a result of the ongoing efforts of Kaeser and his students over the years, a bill is going to be signed to create an Ohio bullfrog license plate. You can learn more at this link
