On Jan. 7, the Dublin City Schools Board of Education voted to return middle school students to the hybrid learning mode beginning Monday Jan. 11.
Middle schools students who chose in-person learning for the second semester will return to the hybrid schedule used by the District prior to Nov. 30. (Students with last names A-K will attend school in the mornings, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and students with last names L-Z will attend school in the afternoons 12:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m.)
The seven elementary schools (Depp, Glacier Ridge, Chapman, Indian Run, Scottish Corners, Thomas, and Olde Sawmill) that had their start times moved up one half hour on Nov. 30, will return to their original start times effective on Jan. 11. (Students with last names A-K will attend school 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. and those last names L-Z will attend 1 p.m.-4 p.m.)
The Board also discussed returning high school students who chose in-person learning for the second semester, to the hybrid learning mode on Jan. 19. The Board will have a special meeting Jan. 11 to discuss formalizing high school students returning to hybrid learning on Jan. 19.
Students in all grade levels, who have chosen the Remote Learning Academy option for the second semester, will continue their learning online.
