Matt Parrill named new Coffman Principal
Dublin Coffman Assistant Principal Matt Parrill has been named the next principal at Dublin Coffman effective Aug. 1. Matt replaces Mike Ulring who is moving to Central Office to take the position of Director, Principal Leadership at Central Office.
An experienced educator and administrator, Matt has served as a Coffman assistant principal since 2015. During his time in that role, he has been responsible for instructional leadership, evaluating certified and classified staff, facilitating master schedules, and coordinating literacy initiatives. Prior to coming to Dublin, he served as Assistant Principal at Franklin Heights High School in South-Western City Schools, Principal at Cardinal Intermediate School at Cardinal Local Schools and Athletic Director with Norton High School at Norton City Schools. Prior to entering administration, he spent five years as a high school language arts teacher.
Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education from the University of Akron and a Master of Educational Leadership from the University of Cincinnati. He is a member of the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators and the National Association of Secondary School Administrators. In 2007, he was named the Distinguished Educator of the Year while at Barberton City Schools.
