Glacier Ridge Growing Reading Garden

students posing

Through generous donations from the GRE PTO, Ahlum and Arbor Tree Preservation, Scotts Lawn, and Dublin Education Foundation, we are growing our reading garden and outdoor classroom. The reading garden is an outdoor space to read in comfortable chairs at recess or after school. The space includes a free library with available books to borrow. You can also donate your books to the reading garden. It is also an outdoor area where teachers can bring their entire class and teach outside in the fresh air. The space includes Adirondack chairs and stumps to sit on. Most recently, students assisted Mr. JP, our head custodian assembling some of the 10 chairs donated by the Dublin Education Foundation.
