Dr. Jaime Stewart Named New Davis Principal

The Board of Education unanimously approved Dr. Jaime Stewart to be the next principal of Davis Middle School at its May 10 meeting. Thank you to those parents and staff who participated in the interview process.

Dr. Stewart is an experienced administrator and comes to Davis from Dublin Jerome High School where she has served as an assistant principal since 2018. She previously served as an assistant principal for four years at Dublin Coffman High School. She served as the assistant principal of curriculum and instruction at Franklin Heights High School and Westland High School with South-Western City Schools for seven years prior to joining Dublin City Schools. She began her career as an intervention specialist with Springfield City Schools, later serving as an intervention specialist and special education department chair with South-Western City Schools.

During her time with Dublin City Schools, she has served on several district-level leadership committees. In her building-level roles, she has coordinated safety and security, school clubs, student and staff recognition programs, special education and intervention programs and more.

Dr. Stewart holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Special Education from Bluffton College, a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from the University Dayton, and a Doctor of Education from the University of Findlay. She is the President Elect of the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators.
