The Fall athletic season has come to a close and it was a tremendous success! Over (220) Sells students represented their school on the Cross Country course, Football field, Golf course, Tennis court, Volleyball court, and the sidelines cheering this Fall, and we are proud of them all. 40% of the eligible 7th and 8th Grade student population participated in Fall Sports! This is an impressive amount of our student body benefiting from the life lessons being taught through sport here at Sells.

There were many accomplishments that highlighted our Fall sports season.

Our Golf program finished an outstanding Fall season. The Boys team finished with a 13-3 overall record. They earned 2nd place in Dublin Cup and 4th place in the Central Ohio Invitational. Great season, boys! The Girls team had equal success. The Black team finished with a 5-0 record, while the Gold team finished 4-1. The team garnered 2nd place in the Central Ohio Invitational. Great season, ladies!

Our Volleyball program continued their winning tradition this Fall. The 8th Grade team finished with 10 wins and a consolation championship in the Dublin Invitational. The 7th Grade team completed their season with 8 wins and a 4th place finish in the BrookPark Invitational. Great season, ladies!

The Football program finished a successful season this Fall. The 8th Grade team worked hard and improved each week! The 7th Grade team dominated the competition by earning a 7-1 record. Great job competing and representing our school on the gridiron, boys! Go ‘Rocks!

The Girls Tennis team won 6 matches over the course of the season. They also placed 2nd in the 1st Annual Dublin Invitational. Great season, ladies!

Our Cross Country program had another successful year. A tremendous amount of work went into our athletes earning many, many personal bests! Great season, Cross Country runners!

Last, but certainly not least, the Cheerleading squad worked hard this Fall, performing well on the sidelines during football games. Great job ladies, and thank you for your positive support!

Beyond the on-field success and accolades, the Sells MS Athletic program earned similar success off the field. Weekly, academic and behavioral performance was monitored by the coaching staff, yielding incredibly positive results.

The mission of Sells Middle School athletics is to provide a safe, fair, and inclusive athletic environment. The athletic experience is designed to bolster the educational experience at Sells Middle School offering fundamental skill instruction, life skill instruction, character education, and interscholastic competition.

We are looking forward to an equally as successful Winter sports season with increased student participation, and continuation of academic and athletic excellence from our student-athletes.
