Using StudentSquare
What Parents Should Know
Parents retain visibility into their student’s StudentSquare communications through ParentSquare. This includes posts, alerts, notices, and direct messages involving school staff. Messages are logged within the platform, helping provide transparency, accountability, and a clear record of communication between students, families, and school staff.
StudentSquare is designed for communication between students and school staff. Students may message teachers, coaches, advisors, and other staff members, but they cannot message other students or parents through the platform. Staff may also include parents in direct message conversations when appropriate.
StudentSquare is not a gradebook and does not replace Schoology or Infinite Campus Parent or Student Portal. Its purpose is to provide students with a consistent, school-managed way to stay connected with the adults, activities, and opportunities that are part of their school experience.
