High School Determination
New high school attendance boundaries will take effect with the 2027-2028 school year. Current Dublin City Schools high school students whose primary residence was reassigned to a different high school as part of the June 2026 boundary changes will have a one-time opportunity to determine which high school they will attend beginning in the 2027-2028 school year. The School Determination Process will take place in October 2026 through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
Eligibility
The School Determination Process applies only to students who:
- are in grades 9-11 during the 2026-2027 school year (Classes of 2028, 2029 and 2030); and
- have a primary residence that was reassigned to a different high school under the June 29 attendance boundary maps.
Students whose high school assignment is not changing do not need to complete the School Determination Form.
Students in eighth grade during the 2026-2027 school year (Class of 2031) and younger will attend the high school assigned to their residence under the new attendance boundaries and are not eligible for the School Determination Process.
Options
Eligible students have two choices for the 2027-2028 school year:
1. Attend the newly assigned high school
The student may attend the high school assigned to their primary residence under the new attendance boundaries.
2. Remain at the current high school and provide their own transportation
The student may choose to remain at the high school they currently attend. Families who choose for their student to remain at their current high school will be responsible for providing transportation to and from school.
Please note: The School Determination Process is a one-time process. Once a selection is made, it is permanent and binding for the remainder of the student's time in Dublin City Schools. Because this decision will determine where the student attends high school beginning in 2027-2028, families are encouraged to carefully consider their selection before submitting the form.
Form and Timeline
Residential parents/guardians of eligible students will complete the School Determination Form through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
The form will be available October 1-16, 2026.
