October 26, 2018

Dear parents,

I hope you've had a good week!

The first quarter ended last week and your child will receive an email over the weekend with a link to his/her report card. Please reference the section below if you would like to access this information on your own as well.

A big hats-off to our boys golf team for being State Champs once again. They carry the torch for Dublin Jerome High School well. Additionally, our marching band competes for a state title tomorrow evening at Hilliard Bradley High School. Although the fall is winding down, we still have a few teams/individuals competing in tournament play. Best of luck to everyone!

Have a restful weekend, and try to stay dry!

Book & Shoe Collection

The IB Program and Multicultural Club are working with FOYA Uganda to collect books and shoes for those in need. FOYA Uganda is an organization based in Westerville that helps supply families with necessary resources. There is a huge need for books for teachers and students, specifically for those who are learning English as a second language. In addition, many Ugandans suffer from ringworm, a virus contracted when feet are exposed to unclean soil. Shoes, typically flip flops, are necessary to combat the spread of ringworm. Learn more about FOYA Uganda here: http://foyauganda.org/

Donation boxes will be located around Jerome through Nov. 1 for shoes (new or gently used, all genders and sizes) and books (preferably non-fiction children’s books, new or gently used). Before you give any old shoes or books away, bring them to school and donate them to someone who could really use them! We will also be coming around to every homeroom this week and next to collect cash donations, which can also make a world of difference. ACT FAST! The last day to donate will be THURSDAY, NOV. 1ST. Put yourself in their shoes, and donate!
