Three of Ohio’s best high schools are located in Dublin City Schools

Three of Ohio’s best high schools are located in Dublin City Schools.

Dublin Coffman, Dublin Jerome, and Dublin Scioto have once again all been ranked among the top 35 high schools in Ohio in U.S. News and World Report’s latest ranking of the best high schools.

“Our community knows we have three world-class high schools here and this recognition comes as no surprise. The dedication of our students, staff, and parents is second to none,” said Superintendent Dr. Todd Hoadley. “While we appreciate these accolades, we know a well-rounded education is a key component of the Dublin Difference and our teaching staff works hard to develop the whole child.”

According to its website, U.S. News and World Report used a four-step process to determine the best high schools.

The first three steps ensured that the schools serve all of their students well, using their performance on the math and reading parts of their state proficiency tests and their graduation rates as the benchmarks. For those schools that made it past the first three steps, a fourth step assessed the degree to which schools prepare students for college-level work.
