It's time to grab your swimmies and come out to watch the Little Mermaid this weekend! I auditioned for the role of Flounder, but was rejected. My agent is still drafting a tersely worded letter to the powers that be. :-) In all seriousness, our students have worked really hard to put this major production together. Not only does the show include our high school students, it also includes 144 younger students from the community. We will have 4 shows open to the public and will also be offering 2 private performances for over 1500 of our Dublin elementary students to attend. It will be a wonderful show and I encourage you to consider attending if your schedule allows.
Have a great weekend, and stay warm!
Turkey Drive and the Mid-Ohio Foodbank
This week the Key Club organized our annual Turkey Drive to benefit the Mid-Ohio Foodbank. The goal of the Foodbank is to provide nourishing food to hungry families in a 20-county area of Central and Eastern Ohio. Money (cash or checks made out to the Mid-Ohio Foodbank) has been collected in your child's homeroom. Our goal is to collect $1 per student or $1700 with tomorrow being the final turn-in day. Learn more about the important work of the Food Bank at midohiofoodbank.org or contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
