Dewey’s Pizza Perimeter Drive- September 2016

A big part of the Dublin Difference is the partnerships the District has with local businesses. The Dublin City Schools Board of Education honors one of our local business partners at its first meeting of the month during the school year. Businesses receive this designation for their contributions to a school, support group, or the District at large.

A great business partnership has been established between the Perimeter Drive location and Dublin City Schools. Dewey’s has donated money and gift cards to our schools over the years. Most recently, Dewey’s donated pizza to Superintendent Dr. Hoadley’s Student Advisory Council at their Sept. 27 lunch meeting.

“Dewey’s went above and beyond to provide enough pizza for every student, which is no small feat,” said Dr. Todd Hoadley.

In the past, Dewey’s has also invited our elementary students to learn about the pizza making business. When the store is closed to the public, our students are given the opportunity to make pizzas with the Dewey’s staff and learn more about the business.

The dedication to providing excellent service to our students is just one of the many reasons the Dewey’s Pizza Perimeter Drive location was chosen for the September Award.
