Tracey Miller named Deputy Superintendent

“The experience and institutional knowledge Tracey brings to the position of Deputy Superintendent will add significant value to our District and community,” said Superintendent Dr. Todd Hoadley.

The role of Deputy Superintendent is a very important role within the District. The position acts as the Superintendent’s right hand and is also responsible for overseeing the academic department. Tracey’s experience as Director of Operations will help tremendously as he takes on this new role.

“Tracey’s appointment helps stabilize and solidify our Central Office leadership team and his experiences in his many different roles will provide us with important context and clarity as we meet the opportunities and challenges ahead,” said Hoadley.

Tracey began his career in Lima as a teacher, coach, and high school administrator. He spent 9 years in Hamilton City Schools as an assistant principal, junior high principal, and high school principal before coming to Dublin City Schools in 2003

Tracey has been with Dublin City Schools for 14 years, serving in many important roles such as Dublin Coffman Principal, Director of Secondary Education, and Director of Operations, his current position.

Tracey will begin his role of Deputy Superintendent on Aug. 1.
