Penny Harvest Update

Hello Wyandot Families,

Today marks the start of our two week item collection for Penny Harvest! With the help of a 4th and 5th grade leadership team and weeks of planning, we will be putting together care packages for the men and women in the United States Armed Forces beginning today and ending on May 12th.

Wyandot will be collecting specific items over the next two weeks to create care packages as a thank you to our Armed Forces. Your child can help by bringing in special items on the list before May 12th. They can bring as many items as they want! Some items are worth one point while other items are worth five points. Please click here for more information about items to bring and point values.

Students can place their items in the grade level boxes in front of the main office. On May 12th the items will be totaled and a winning grade level will receive a special reward from Mrs. Schwartz, Mr. Blake and Mr. Sprouse. Items that come in after May 12th will be added to the care packages but not counted for the grade level competition.

Watch for more emails and updates over the next two weeks. Finally, if you have any family or close friends currently stationed overseas, or have a special connection with an armed forces unit currently deployed, we would love to send one of the care packages specifically to that unit. Thank you for helping us instill a passion for helping others in our Wyandot students.
