Congratulations 5th Graders - Good Luck at Grizzell!

Congratulations to our 5th grade class who had a fantastic last week of school.  They began the week with the annual "5th Grade Celebration" where they shared their favorite memories at Pinney.   Then, they traveled to Tartan Fields Pool for a day of fun in the water.  Wednesday was the ever popular "SuperGames" followed by the popular "Talent Show" on Thursday.  Their last day was Friday, May 25th and it started with the emotional "Clap In" with parents and friends clapping them into school for the last time.  The highlight of the day was the students vs. teachers "Pinney Sports Tournament" where there was some friendly competition on the basketball court, soccer field, kickball diamond, and 4-square courts.
The gift to the school was a new storage shed for the playground that will house all of our outdoor play equipment for years to come.  Thank you to our families and corporate sponsors for their generousity to support this gift.   Sponsors include Stanley Steemer, Genric, Marie's, and Resolute Athletic Complex.

We grow thinkers: Building a culture of enrichment

We grow thinkers: Building a culture of enrichment

By Kimberly Pietsch Miller
Chief Academic Officer
During the first few weeks of the new school year, you may see members of our staff wearing “We grow thinkers” wristbands. This is not a new catch phrase, but a historic mantra we are reinventing this school year as we sharpen our instructional focus on creativity, critical thinking, personalized learning, and enrichment for all students.
