PURPLE POWER!  One of our Pinney moms and former PTO executive board member, Shannon Schmidt, passed away on August 7th.  Shannon’s boys attend Grizzell and Pinney.  In honor of Shannon, we encourage everyone to wear purple on September 21st. Shannon’s story is being honored through the American Cancer Society to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer initiatives including research, patient services and education.  Donate to ACS in honor of Shannon
