Welcome to 4th Grade in Room 112

Friday, December 1, 2017
It is hard to believe it is December already!  These next few weeks are busy with activities and extra excitement.

The Giving Tree
This year, the Welcome Warehouse committee is also including a "Giving Tree", which will be located near the main entrance. Each day will feature a much-needed item for local families in need and will be the following:
Monday Dec. 4th: Mittens/gloves
Tuesday Dec. 5th: Hats
Wednesday Dec. 6th: Socks
Thursday Dec. 7th: Scarves
Friday Dec. 8th: Toothbrushes/toothpaste
Students can place the donated items at the Giving Tree each morning. Thank you for your assistance with this, we hope to share the spirit of giving with our students and local families in need!!

Weekly Math Homework Reminder...
Please remind your child that they have a weekly math homework assignment to complete at least two assignments of their choice each week. This assignment is due on Monday of each week. I am able to see what assignments were complete, scores, the amount of time the students worked on the assignment, and the number of hints or video used. We talked as a class that these assignments are being used to help reinforce and build their math skills so they should take their time, work problems out if needed and use the hints and videos when completing the assignments. Thank your for your support at home!

With the colder weather arriving, please be sure to send a sweatshirt or jacket to school on these chilly days. We go outside when the temperature is 25 degrees or above.
