Global Travel

Travel with a Teacher!

Students in front of Eiffel Tower
In today's increasingly interconnected world, college and career readiness calls for a well-rounded cultural perspective.  It is important for students to enhance their global awareness and acquire the knowledge, skills and values necessary to compete in our global society. To meet the need, educators from Dublin City Schools offer domestic and international travel opportunities that complement our curriculum. We believe these travel opportunities provide students with the perfect combination of learning and firsthand experiences, helping students to understand the world around them, from cultures and languages to economic and social systems. By taking part in a global travel journey, students have the chance to step outside their comfort zone, experience a new culture, expand their knowledge and see the world from a different perspective.

EF Educational Tours, the world leader in international education, is the primary travel service provider for these trips. For some trips, travel services are provided by other respected travel companies. Trip costs usually include round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations with private bathrooms, chaperones, a tour director who travels with the group, sightseeing tours and excursions, specified meals, airport transfers, transportation between destination cities, transportation to all included activities, entrance fees as specified, and 24-hour worldwide emergency services. Costs may vary depending on when students register and reserve their spot on a trip.
