Important!
Please be sure that your student wears the included name tag on the first day of school. This will be critical in helping your child find his or her classroom and teacher.
Transportation:
If your student is riding the bus to summer school, bus information, including pick-up and drop-off locations and times, will be shared with families near the end of the school year.
Please ensure thatthe bus your student gets on in the morning matches the animal on their name tag. There are multiple buses taking students to different locations and we want to ensure your child is on the correct bus.
Parents who will be providing transportation will need to enter Bailey’s parking lot from Brandonway Dr. Do not enter the bus only area in front of the school. Please see the map on the back for detailed information.
Our day:
Students will be working with two teachers from Dublin City Schools within a class of around 20 students for the Summer Learning Experience. Students will be engaged in daily literacy activities, including our 95 Phonics Summer Extension Bundles, as well as reading and writing opportunities.
Snack:
Each day students will be given a bottle of water and a small snack.
Please pack an extra set of clothes for your student to keep in their backpack in case of accidents. There will not be extra clothes at summer school.
Summer Literacy Experience Kick-Off Event:
This event will take place on June 1 from 6-7:30 pm at Bailey Elementary School. Families are welcome to come to ask questions about summer school and transportation, and participate in literacy activities.
We look forward to seeing you this summer!
