Candidates interested in becoming a bus driver or bus aide are hired directly through the Dublin City Schools Transportation department. New drivers receive paid training (25-35 hours of classroom and in-bus) and upon completion of their training and receipt of a certificate to drive a school bus, they work every school day. There is no call-in system. New drivers and aides work 25-32 hours/week during the school year.
