Dublin Football League

The Dublin Rugby High School team instructs students from all three high schools in Dublin, Ohio in the fundamentals of rugby. Our team engages in competition with schools in the Columbus area and extends our reach to face teams from Cleveland and Cincinnati. The primary playing season for us is during the spring, focusing on the 15s style of rugby.

GOLDEN SHAMROCKS FIELD HOCKEY CLUB

Est. 2004

Our mission is to teach good, fundamental field hockey skills in a positive and fun-
filled atmosphere. We prioritize promoting good sportsmanship and building character traits which will be invaluable as our athletes become young adults.
• Club members are typically 5th-8th grade in Dublin Schools. Younger players
and players from other school districts may participate with special invitation.
We welcome new and experienced players!
• Our home field is at Dublin Scioto High School, a special thank you to A
Magistrale.
• Players may join our club in 5th or 6th grade and be taught the basic skills
needed to play on our Green Team, with 6-8 games per season. Placement on
the Gold Team is at coaches discretion based on skill level.
• In 7th-8th grade, players will continue to improve skills, learn more about the
tactics and strategy of the game, and will be on our Gold Team, playing up to 14
games per season. New 8th graders are always put with their peers on the Gold
Team.
WHERE DO I START?
• Camp: Four evening sessions typically the first week of June to help new player
learn the basics of the game and experienced players refine their skillsets
• Summer 7s: Pickup scrimmage games two nights/week during the summer...
meant to be fun, get lots of ball touches, and supplement what players learn at
camp.
• Fall season: Pre-season begins the first week of August. Once school starts
practices are typically Monday & Wednesday, games Tuesday & Thursday, some weekend Play Days.
The pre-season practice schedule and also the regular season practice and game
schedule is available on our Team Snap website and on the Dublin Junior FH site. Our Team Snap Shamrock site is password protected as we have players names and
photos on there. You will receive the password when you decide to join the team.
