As the Communications team for Dublin City Schools, we build strong relationships with our stakeholders through information, storytelling, and events. We are committed to providing facts and information about DCS using the most organized, reliable, and transparent methods available.

Need to Get Your Info Out?
While Dublin City Schools values the many organizations that support our students and families, we receive a high volume of requests to share events, activities, fundraisers, and programs. To help maintain consistent practices across all schools, we ask that external organizations and community partners do not contact building principals directly with newsletter or promotional requests. Principals have been asked to prioritize district and school communications essential to students’ learning, safety, and day-to-day experience. This helps avoid message overload for families.
Here is a brief summary of our distribution guidelines:
- School newsletters focus on academic updates, operational information, and district-sponsored programs.
- External events and community opportunities are included in e-newsletters when deemed appropriate by the DCS Communications team.
- Non-district, community-sponsored activities may be submitted to the DCS Info Hub, our digital community bulletin board.
- All materials must be reviewed for appropriateness and compliance with Board policies, including guidelines on advertising, commercial activities, and suitability for a public school setting.
- Paper flyers are generally not distributed through schools.
- Sharing information from outside organizations does not imply district endorsement.
Promote Your Event Through the Info Hub
If you are a community organization wishing to share an opportunity, the best way to reach families is to submit your materials through the Info Hub request form. Approved items are posted on the Info Hub for families to access at any time, and the Info Hub is regularly promoted in our channels.
