School Reminders


Lunch

The prince of student lunch is $2.55 including milk; milk only may be purchased for $.50. You can prepay for your child’s lunch using EZ Pay online (for a fee). Please remind students that they are not allowed to share food for the purpose allergy safety. In addition, please do not send glass containers with your child.

Arrival and Dismissal Procedure

Arrival: Those arriving by car or walking should begin to arrive at 9:00am. Please use our student drop off system.

Dismissal: Students walking home or being picked up will be dismissed at 3:35. Students leaving by bus will be dismissed at 3:40. Please communicate any change in dismissal to the office prior to 1:30pm.

We Grow Thinkers: The K-5 Gifted Services Model

A continuum of services supported by research and best practices will be provided to identified gifted K-5 students. The curriculum includes a school-wide enrichment model for K-3, with an emphasis on promoting creative and divergent thinking in all students. Testing to identify gifted students in the area of superior cognitive ability will take place in the spring for students in grades 3 and 4. Services for cognitively gifted identified 4th and 5th grade students will include a pull out service which allows students to work with a Gifted Intervention Specialist. Additionally, these students will be grouped together in cluster groups in their regular classrooms in order to provide a peer group for these unique students. Read More +
