Mrs. Kristy Venne
Kristy Venne joined the Dublin City School District as an assistant principal at Dublin Jerome in 2015. Since that time, she served as an assistant principal and dean of students at New Albany High School. Prior to becoming an administrator, Mrs. Venne was designated as a master teacher in the visual arts and taught at the elementary and high school levels in New Albany for 10 years. During that time, she also founded and directed Eco-Art Adventure, a summer day camp program.
Mrs. Venne obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Art Education and her administrative license from The Ohio State University. She is an Honorary Member of the New Albany Chapter of National Honor Society and a Jenning’s Scholar. Mrs. Venne has presented at several conferences, most recently at Dublin City School’s Leadership Academy in 2016 and at the Josten’s Renaissance National Conference in Florida in 2014. She is a member of various educational associations including the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators (OASSA), the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD).
Mrs. Venne resides in Upper Arlington with her husband, David, and their two children, Julian and Camille. In her free time, she enjoys vegetarian cooking, spending time in the natural world, exercising, remodeling projects, and being with family and friends.
