May 18-25, 2018
Well here it is...the last newsletter of the year. Seems like it was just August and now the year has come to an end! The kids have worked very hard this year. Please remember to keep a journal, practice some math facts and read, read, read this summer to keep those skills sharp that they worked so hard to develop this past year.
A special thank you to Mrs. Palmer, Mrs. Moritz, Mrs. Goeppner, Mrs. Fung and Mrs. Abu-Saleh for chaperoning at the zoo yesterday. We had a great day and sure lucked out with the weather!
Please join us at our Celebration of Learning as we share our animal research projects on Tuesday May 22 from 2:30-3:30. It is open house style so we hope you can stop in and see us!
Super Games is Thursday May 24. First grade goes in the afternoon. Please put sunscreen on your child in the morning, The children will need a water bottle labeled with their name and a towel. There is a chance the children will get wet so you are welcome to send a change of clothes if you want your child to change before heading home. You can pack a lunch or purchase a fun lunch. Kona Ice will provide treats during the games.
The last day of school is Friday May 25. It is a half day. Unless I hear otherwise, your child will arrive home following his/her regular dismissal routine.
Please look around your homes and return any classroom books. We are still missing some from our classroom collections.
Thank you for a wonderful school year! Hope to see you next week and around Dublin this summer!
