OhioHealth FAQs
-
Can I be seen if I don’t have insurance?
Yes! OhioHealth provides financial assistance for those who qualify. All patients will be seen regardless of insurance status, no child will be turned away. We do have additional funding available for families without insurance so no child will receive an out of pocket cost for any of our services.
-
Do you accept my insurance?
We accept most insurances, when you call to schedule an appointment we review and verify your insurance. If you have insurance, your insurance will be billed for any services rendered. No family will have to pay out of pocket for our services unless your insurance has a copay.
-
I received a billing estimate in the mail, what does this mean?
A patient care estimate is a Good Faith Estimate of anticipated services for a scheduled visit. This is an estimate not a bill (the estimate does not take into account financial or funding assistance). No family will have an out-of-pocket cost for vaccines, well child visits or sports physicals. New healthcare regulations requires all healthcare organizations to provide this letter to patients. If you receive one and have additional questions please call our office.
-
Do you offer the in-school health clinic at other schools?
Yes. Currently we are at Hopewell Elementary, Davis
Middle School and this year we have added Dublin Scioto High School.

Can I schedule an appointment for my child the day of the health clinic?
It is recommended that parents schedule appointments 2-3 days prior to the health clinic. We will try our best to accommodate seeing your child that day, however there is no guarantee. Our doctors review vaccine records and any additional medical information prior to visits.
-
Do I need to be there for my child to be seen?
Parents/guardians are always welcome, but do not need to be present for the appointment. A doctor may reach out to you after the visit if needed.
