About the Deputy Superintendent
The deputy superintendent oversees the Department of Academics and Student Learning and various divisions including Teaching and Learning, Student Services, Human Resources, Enrollment, Online Learning, Safety and Security, and Student Data/EMIS . In addition, the deputy superintendent directs the day-to-day operations of all facets of the school district. Acting as the superintendent's right hand, the deputy superintendent assists in providing leadership to the district that will yield the best possible learning experiences for all Dublin students.
About Dr. Deagle
Dr. Tracey Deagle became the deputy superintendent of Dublin City Schools in 2019. Previously, she was the principal of Davis Middle School for five years.
Before coming to Dublin Schools, Dr. Deagle was an assistant high school principal at Hilliard Darby High School and director of school improvement for the Greene County Educational Service Center. She began her K-12 career as a teacher at Van Wert High School.
She was a member of the State Board of Education from 2009-10, a member of the Governor’s Early Childhood Advisory Council from 2009-11, and she served on the Ohio Fair Schools Board of Directors from 2006-07.
Dr. Deagle has a bachelor’s degree in comprehensive social studies education from The Ohio State University, a master’s degree in public policy from Indiana University Fort Wayne, and a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Dayton. She resides in Dublin with her family.
