• A big part of the Dublin Difference is partnering with local businesses and organizations to help ensure our students are receiving a world-class, well-rounded education.

    The Business Advisory Council

The goal of the BAC is to help the District learn from private sector business practices, and to help the business community stay informed about the latest information concerning their school district.
Some of these BAC members come from businesses and agencies such as Cardinal Health, the Columbus Metropolitan Library, Ohio University at Dublin, The Wendy’s Company, Battelle, Nationwide, Medical Mutual of Ohio and many more.

    The City of Dublin

The District is fortunate to have a great relationship with the City of Dublin. In 2014, the District and the City formed the Cooperative Agreement for Financing Bridge Street Public Infrastructure Improvements. This provides a predictable annual income stream that is dedicated to strategic investments in technology.

    Dublin Chamber of Commerce

Each year, the Chamber helps the District honor the best of volunteerism with our Community Champions Program as well as unique job opportunities for students through the “Dublin Works: A Summer Job Fair for students.”

    • The Community Champion Awards are held each spring in the District. Students and staff members are nominated for an award by the community and are individuals who exemplify service qualities and volunteerism.
    • The Summer Job Fair for Students is held each spring for any Dublin City School student above working age. Last year, over 45 companies came to Dublin Jerome and distributed information, held interviews, and hired many students. This unique event keeps growing each year and provides our students a great opportunity to find summer employment.

    Business of the Month Award

Dublin City Schools aims to honor and recognize our great partners with this monthly award. We have many great business partners throughout our District and their support is crucial to the Dublin Difference. Businesses are nominated for their contributes to a classroom, school, or District in general.

    Business Newsletter

Dublin City Schools embraces partnerships with our local businesses and our business community. The Business Newsletter is designed to foster relationships between Dublin City Schools and local businesses. It is sent out a few times each year.

    PREP/Power Plus Internships

These programs partner students with disabilities and local businesses to provide post-secondary job training.

    The Columbus Zoo

The Zoo staff provides educational opportunities for our schools and even brings animal visitors for the students to see up close.

    Embassy Suites

Each holiday season, Riverside students partner with Embassy Suites on a community service project. Embassy Suites donates materials and volunteers their time to help. Students at Riverside put together a bag of needed items that are then donated to a local homeless shelter.
