Partnerships

  • Our community partners play a critical role in helping us grow and educate the youth in our community. Our district is fortunate to have a collaborative relationship with our local businesses, the City of Dublin, and our local Chamber of Commerce. Learn more below.

Business Advisory Council: The goal of the BAC is to help the District learn from private sector business practices, and to help the business community stay informed about the latest information concerning their school district. Some of these BAC members come from businesses and agencies such as Cardinal Health, EASE Logistics, Ohio University at Dublin, OhioHealth, Nationwide, Medical Mutual of Ohio and many more. Learn more about our BAC here.

City of Dublin: In 2014, the District and the City formed the Cooperative Agreement for Financing Bridge Street Public Infrastructure Improvements. This provides a predictable annual income stream that is dedicated to strategic investments in technology. The City of Dublin offers residents and corporate citizens responsive services, attractive housing, superior public education, direct regional highway access, abundant park space, thoughtful and strategic planning, innovative ideas and technology and a dynamic community life. Dublin is consistently ranked one of the safest cities in the nation and in 2015 was named one of America’s Top 20 Creative Class Cities. It is home to more than 20 corporate headquarters, an entrepreneurial center, 4,300+ businesses, world-class events and the urban, walkable Bridge Street District. Visit the city's website to learn more.

Chamber of Commerce: Each year, the Chamber partners with our District to honor the best of volunteerism with our Community Champions Program as well as unique job opportunities for students through the “Dublin Works: Student Job and Internship Fair”

    • The Community Champion Awards are held each spring in the District. Students and staff members are nominated for an award by the community and are individuals who exemplify service qualities and volunteerism. You can read more on their website: https://www.dublinchamber.org/community-champion-awards

    • The Job and Internship Fair for students is held each spring for Dublin City School students above working age. Last year, over 80 companies came to Dublin Scioto high school and shared information, held interviews, and hired many students. This unique event keeps growing each year and provides our students a great opportunity to find summer employment or an internship.
