Emerald Campus Announcements

  • We have a wonderful new student-driven Writing Center available as a service to students. The writing center desk is available on the 3rd floor of the EC building in our newly redesigned space, the Library Learning Commons (LLC). The desk is staffed by students who are ready to help other students through the writing process with support, feedback, and/or brainstorming help, and oversaw by our new EC Librarian, Dr. Henderson Murphy. The desk is staffed 8:30-2:30 Mon, Tues, Thur, and Fri. Students not in the building or wanting to schedule an appointment can request assistance at this link: TINYURL.COM/ECWRITINGCENTER. Here is the Flyer for the Writing Center

For students interested in volunteering, please reach out to Ashley Covitz: 21covitz_ashley@dublinstudents.net.

  • Dublin City Schools high school students will be operating on a modified schedule on Wednesday, October 14 due to the national administration of the PSAT/NMSQT and SAT at the three high schools.  Those participating in this testing opportunity will be doing so in-person (including RLA students) at their home high school. This is a national testing day and was not selected by the District.  All juniors will be administered the PSAT/NMSQT and seniors who signed up for the opportunity will be administered the SAT make-up test at the same time. In order to safely administer both the PSAT/NMSQT and the SAT, the number of teachers needed to proctor has increased significantly which will impact the normal synchronous Wednesday schedule for students in the Remote Learning Academy. Students not participating in either the PSAT/NMSQT or the SAT make-up test will engage in asynchronous learning on Oct. 14. Students not taking the SAT or PSAT may use Oct. 14 as a catch-up day as the first quarter of school ends Oct. 16.
