Irish Athletics Summer Speed & Agility Training

Bored this Summer? -  Do you want to increase your strength, stamina, speed and quickness?  Our Davis Athletic Coaches can help!   Coach Waldrum and Coach Allen will be conducting INTENSE  Speed, Strength & Agility training this summer for any interested athletes of Davis Middle School.  So if you are serious about being the best you can be and playing sports at Davis this Fall,  join this free training program and strive to reach your potential.  You will be pushed both physically and mentally as we prepare the next generation of Irish Athletes!

Irish Athletics Summer & Fall Tryout Schedules

Many of our sports teams will be conducting optional conditioning, open gyms, open nets and other training this summer.  Below you will find information you will need to plan out your athlete's summer.  Below is the name and contact informaion for each of our head coaches as well as directions to find other information and schedules you may need.
What is needed to participate in Summer / Fall Athletics?
*  Register your Athlete in Final Forms Database -  Registration is required to participate in any conditioning, open gyms or tryouts in the Fall.  Directions can be found on the Athletic Website in the "Forms & Downloads" section.  Parents and students must create an account,  complete required paperwork and sign up for the sports they are interested in next year.
*  Current Physical on file in the Athletic Office:   All athletes must have a current physical form on file in the athletic office to participate in conditioning, open gyms and tryouts.  Your physical must be on the official Ohio High School Athletic Association Form (OHSAA) which can be found on the main page of the Davis M.S. website or in the Athletic Website in the "Forms & Downloads" section.  Your athlete can bring it with them on the first day of participation as needed.  If you have a current physcial on file, you are all set!
Cut Sports:  Such as Volleyball, Tennis and Golf  will have 2-3 days of tryouts starting August 1, 2, (and 5th if needed at coaches discretion) 2019 for potential athletes to try out for the team.  You must be present during the scheduled tryout times to be considered for each team.  (There will be no special tryouts scheduled before or after those dates)

* Players must have their own tennis racket for tryouts and season.  Feel free to contact coach if you have purchasing questions.  Players will also need to bring a water bottle, wear shorts or skirt with pockets and athletic shoes.
Dublin Girls Golf  (Girls Golf is made up of a combination of 4 schools, into two different teams)

Dublin Davis Girls Golf Informational Meeting

There will be a meeting this Thursday, May 23rd at the 1919 Building (located between Sells M.S. & Indian Run) from 6:00pm- 6:45pm
Players and parents will receive information about upcoming tryouts, practice & game schedules as well as other important information for players and parents to participate in this great program.

Final Forms Information for Sports Registration

We are very excited to announce that the Dublin City Schools Athletic Departments have partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign athletic participation forms for your student(s). The most exciting news is that FinalForms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information twice! FinalForms also pre-populates information wherever possible, for each of your students, saving you time!

You will review your information once per school year to verify information is current and sign the required forms.

**ALL parents of athletes will be required to use FinalForms**
