A Message from the Principal
Dear Riverside Community,
The new 2010-2011 school year promises to offer many exciting and educationally rewarding challenges for the students at Riverside. We hope that everyone, parents, grandparents, and friends, will become involved in some aspect of our education program at Riverside.
Throughout the summer, many projects were undertaken to insure that the school was in tip-top shape for this coming school year. When you have the opportunity to travel through the school, I'm sure you will notice how the building sparkles and shines. Many thanks to our outstanding custodians, Gary Hay and John Bobo, for all of their hard work!
Our PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) worked tirelessly last year to achieve our goals. This year promises to be another great year, led by our co-presidents Amy and Tony Ruggerio. Please consider signing up for a committee or to help with a project this year. Riverside shines brighter with everyone--parents, students, and staff--working together.
Throughout the school year, the Riverside staff will be striving to help each student develop to their fullest potential. Please help us help your child. Family support lends itself to a higher achieving student. I encourage you to get involved in your child's education, their future, and our future, as a productive nation depends on their success at school.
The staff and I hope that all of you have a terrific year, and if there is anything we can do to help, please know that our doors are always open.
Connie Stitzlein, Principal
