This has been a fantastic week at Scioto. The students have met all expectations with very few exceptions. Their effort is appreciated! We celebrated the seniors’ last day with yearbook signing, outdoor activities, and a cookout. Seniors took a final walk through the halls as staff and underclassmen lined their path. It is always a bittersweet time for all, with memories made and fond farewells. Thanks for making it an enjoyable day. Please look below as a final reminder for the important events ahead. Let’s make the last week great!
Enjoy your soon-to-be-graduates and your children. The time goes quickly. Make it a good weekend!

Attention Parents of Junior Students
The clinic needs documentation of TWO meningitis vaccines in order to attend school senior year. The state has mandated the MCV4 (also known as the meningitis shot, Menactra, Menomune, or Menveo) for the 2016-2017. The first dose is typically given around age 11 or 12. The second dose must be given after age 16. Please check your immunization records and if there is no evidence of TWO meningitis vaccines, please call your physician or health department for an appointment and provide the clinic with a copy of your completed shot record ASAP! Questions? Call your school clinic! THANK YOU!
