GMS NEWS - March 16, 2017

PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

AIR testing is underway at GMS.  Our technology is supporting the process beautifully and students are working hard to show what they have learned this year. Testing approximately 300 students at one time takes a huge amount of planning and coordination.  Thank you parents for doing your best to have students in school and on time.  Thank you teachers, guidance counselors, and Ms. Murray for all of your efforts in the preparation process.

I hope you have received the announcements about Sunday’s Red Cross blood drive and Swab-a-thon in honor of JJ.  The event begins at 10am and will conclude at 3pm, and it’s not too late to show your support.  Walk-in donations are accepted for the blood drive and no appointment is necessary to be swabbed for the bone marrow database.  If you want more information about swabbing, please visit the websites listed below.   https://www.dkms.org/en or https://bethematch.org/

As with all opportunities to support the GMS community, I am confident we will have a great turnout.  Thank you to Jenny Bender and Danielle Hodge for all of their work organizing the event.  See you there!

Have a great weekend!

Corinne
