“Kristy emerged from a very strong pool of internal and external candidates. During the interview process she was able to articulate her vision for launching these new programs with an eye toward growth and expansion as we look to enhance career exploration programming for students,” said Superintendent Dr. Todd Hoadley.
Kristy came to our District from New Albany where she served as an assistant principal at New Albany High School. Prior to entering administration, she served as a visual art teacher and a dean of students, both with New Albany Schools. She has a Bachelor’s of Art Education from and a Master’s of Art Education, both from The Ohio State University. She is a licensed elementary and secondary principal, and was named a master teacher in 2012.
Kristy will begin her new duties October 1. She will be involved in all aspects of the facility going forward, but her focus will be on program development in order to attract significant numbers of students to existing and future programs.
