Back To School Information for Parents and Students

Dear Scioto Families,

Welcome back! We look forward to this school year to provide students with a quality education. As you know or will soon find out, Scioto is a special place. We are fortunate to have an outstanding staff and student body. We look forward to forming partnerships that foster measurable student growth and outcomes.

I will be meeting individually with each class on the first day of school. If you or your child have any individual concerns, please feel free to contact your guidance counselor or administrator to request an appointment. We want to insure that all students are comfortable and excited to be here.

Following are some details to help in preparation for a successful year:

Required Information Update

You must update your student's information for the 2017-18 school year online using our new portal, which will replace the Parent Dashboard. This system will allow you to update your contact information, medical information and emergency information. You will also be able to input email addresses and phone numbers to receive school news and alerts.

Please check http://www.dublinschools.net/backtoschool.aspx to proceed to the required 2017-2018 back to school forms. Click on the link “Update Information.” This is where you can log in with your credentials and follow the prompts. Credentials are your student’s birthday and student ID number.

username: student ID number

password: student date of birth

*format: M/D/YYYY (1/3/2001) *include slashes

You must complete your online forms prior to the first day of school on August 16.

Please note: You will be required to complete the back to school forms for each of your students individually. Once you complete one student, you must logout and login again to begin working on the next student.

On the first day of school, all students will be photographed for a student ID and school records, regardless of whether a portrait package is purchased. Once your application has been received, the district office will determine your eligibility and send you a letter with the results. To apply, simply go to http://www.lunchapplication.com/ and click Apply Now.

Student Parking Permits

Parking permits will be sold during lunch periods the first week of school. Please find an application and requirements attached.

Hope you enjoy the remaining days of break. We’ll be ready to greet you on August 16!
