On Jan. 13, Principal Mike Ulring led members of the media and the public on a tour of the classrooms. Six classrooms were added to the building including two science classrooms, four art classrooms, one photography darkroom, and four preparatory rooms.

The total square footage added to the building is about 11,300 square feet.

Additional renovation at Coffman is planned in the summer of 2009 and will bring the total number of additional classrooms funded by the November 2008 bond issue to 10.
