Two teachers to be recognized by Ohio School Boards Association
Each year the Central Region, Ohio School Boards Association recognizes approximately ten teachers as Outstanding Teachers in Central Ohio.

“With more than 100 school districts in our region, it is a compliment to these two individuals and the quality of our staff to have two honorees at this year’s spring conference,” said Superintendent Dr. David Axner.

Teachers may be nominated by students, staff, parents, or community members. Nominees are asked to provide a biographical sketch, respond to a series of essay questions that include their philosophy of teaching, personal teaching style, and their thoughts on education issues.

Nominees must also provide three letters of support and send in a completed application with signatures from the superintendent and their principal.
