"Power of Parenting" Discussion Series
Middle School Parents - We would like to invite you to attend a series of discussion groups for parents. The sessions will begin with a brief informational overview of adolescent development based on current research, as well as the Active Parenting Program. The majority of our time together will be spent discussing the challenges parents may face during these transitional years. You are welcome to attend one or all of the following sessions:
 
KMS 2014 8th Grade Event Tickets and Pictures
The ticket deadline for the 8th Grade Event is quickly approaching. We need all ticket forms and pictures for the class DVD by May 1st. Ticket forms are on line and in the office. Also, please submit 2-3 pictures of your child to kms8event@yahoo.com . Examples of the new Dublin City Schools K-12 academic content standards in Math & Language Arts (middle language arts)
As we move closer to full implementation of the new Dublin City Schools K-12 academic content standards in 2014-15, we will be providing you with some authentic examples of the standards and assessments already being used in our Math and Language Arts classrooms.  
Volunteer Opportunity
The Miracle League is a baseball league for children with developmental disabilities. Every Saturday from May to July, over 200 children from all over central Ohio play baseball on a specially-designed field at Darree Fields in Dublin with the support of their volunteer “buddies.”
 
KMS Parking Lot Drop Off
  KMS Parents:  We are having some issues with parents using the North parking lot entrance to drop off and pick up their children at school during our peak drop-off hours.  This makes it very difficult for our buses to get into the bus lane in a timely fashion and is causing back-ups on Tullymore Road.  To help alleviate these issues we are asking for everyone to please read and follow these drop-off and pick-up procedures:
