Mr. Scott's Welcome
Posted 8/21/2014 at 2:46:36 PM by Jon Borland [staff member]

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Scioto!!   My name is Robert Scott, and I am the newly appointed interim principal of DSHS.   I began at Scioto in 1995 as the Business teacher, Department Chair and Lacrosse coach.  After ten incredible years of teaching and coaching at Scioto, I became an Assistant Principal at Dublin Jerome High School.   I feel very privileged to become the interim principal of Dublin Scioto High School.  I am incredibly honored and excited to be here.

When I walked into the school, I had the overwhelming feeling of “coming home”.   To tell you I am thrilled to be here is an understatement.   Because I know many of the current staff and I am getting to know the new staff, I can say without reservation or hesitation that we have an incredible team here at Scioto.

I look forward to welcoming you to our great school community, and I am anxious to meet all of the parents and students.  This year, I suggested to the staff to read the book “The Energy Bus”, by Jon Gordon.  I would recommend this book to anyone interested in fueling all areas of their life with positive energy.

Please feel free to contact me at any time.
