NEW Automated Attendance Call System

Beginning today, Monday, March 23, 2015, Scioto will start to utilize a new automated attendance call system.  The system will automatically calls parents to inform them that their child was reported absent at school and the school has not received parental notification of absence for the day.  These calls are designed to serve as a reminder to those that might have forgotten or been too busy to call our attendance line to report an absent child.  As in the past, please make sure if your child is absent, that you call our attendance line at 717-2469 to report that absence each day prior to 9:00 AM.  In addition, it is required that you send in a note with your student when they return to school (or email callison_sherri@dublinschools.netexplaining the absence so that we have documentation of our attendance records for the State of Ohio.  Students who are leaving school early for appointments should follow our regular procedures of bringing in a note to the office in the morning to make the school and teacher aware.

Also, please take this time to use the parent dashboard link: https://dashboard.dublinschools.net/parents/ to update your phone and contact information and as needed, since the new system will be pulling phone numbers direct from our parent dashboard for notification purposes.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss specific attendance circumstance, please directly contact:

Scioto attendance secretary, Sherri Callison, 718-8302

Attendance Counselor, Gigi Jackson, 718-8303

We thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience!
