The Common Core math standards place an emphasis on understanding mathematical concepts as well as teaching procedural skills.

The Dublin City School District has been preparing for the implementation of the Common Core Standards beginning with the 2014-15 school year. The Common Core Standards have been adopted by 45 states and will define expectations for the vast majority of the United States.
