Tardies/Absences: Please call the SMS Attendance Line by 9:28am at 614.718.8572. This is a 24/7 phone number at your service.

Student to be on a planned absence - missing 1+ full days of school?
Three or four days before the absence begins, print a “Middle School Pre-Arranged Absence Form” by clicking here, or ask your student to pick up a form from the SMS office forms rack.
Complete, sign, and ask your student to have all their teachers sign and provide homework assignments. This form is submitted to the SMS main office before the absence begins.
If your student will miss more than 20 school days, please contact your student’s Guidance Counselor:

Dublin Coffman High School is hosting a presentation for parents and Students about understanding Mental Health Concerns in Adolescence.
 
Geography Bee Game Night
You are invited to the Geography Bee Game Night on Sunday, December 14 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. These “kahoot” games will feature former Geographic Bee questions that are based on Dublin’s upcoming trips to Istanbul, Turkey, Crete, Greece and Italy. It will be a fun way to prepare for January’s Bee, learn about the Global Scholars program, and compete in a students vs. parents geography knowledge showdown. Come to the Grizzell Middle School library with your electronic device to play!
