Happy November! The first three months of school have flown by! Thank you coming to conferences last week. It was good to share all of the great learning your child has been doing over the past months. Your support at home is key. Thank you.
We have completed our study of 2-D shapes including circle, square, rectangle, triangle and hexagon. We are adding new words to our word wall every two weeks. These are the home learning words I have sent home and include the, can, go, like, we, play, see, and, went, I, is and a. Please practice these words at home to grow your child as a reader and writer.
Our school family continues narratives in read alouds and in writing. I am starting to observe and hear some really exciting stories that include a beginning, middle and ending. Go writers and readers!
Each day we recite the Wright Pledge and the Pledge of allegiance as we learn about being a citizen in the Daniel Wright Community and our United States.
NO SCHOOL TUESDAY NOVEMBER 8.
Also, a big thank you to all the families who donated items and time for the Harvest party last week.
