With the holiday season approaching, we
felt that this was a good time to review safety practices for school and home.
Dublin City Schools officials work with
the Dublin Police Department to be vigilant in
monitoring the areas around our schools
for suspicious activity We would ask that
parents do the same.
I am hoping that this reminder will
raise awareness in your family as your children travel
to and from school each day.
Please review appropriate responses to
strangers with your children and reinforce the
necessity of traveling in pairs. Remind
your children to seek out trusted adults, such as
crossing guards and parents in your
neighborhood, as well as identifying safe locations in
advance.
