The Grizzell Book Fair Wilderness is coming next week! It will arrive on Thursday, May 4th and be here until the following Thursday, May 11th. During all Language Arts classes, 6th graders will be going to the fair on Friday, May 5th and 7th graders will be visiting the fair on Thursday, May 4th. The book fair will be open late on Thursday, May 11th from 7:00-7:40 p.m. right before the Band Concert.

“8th graders interested in Jerome Cross Country: Coach Wadenstierna will be holding a meeting Wednesday, May 3rd during lunch. Bring a friend and get some exciting information about the upcoming season.”

Congratulations to the boys track and field program who won in a close competition to Hilliard Memorial 59 to 55. The boys track team had a total of 31 PR's in 13 out of 14 scored events. 

Congratulations to the boys tennis team who competed in a match against Delaware Dempsey. Our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd singles players all won their matches 6/0 and 6/0. Excellent work! The first doubles players as well as the second doubles players also won their matches in double donuts! The boys tennis team will be playing Karrer away tomorrow. Come over to Karrer to cheer on the team. The boys tennis team in is now 5/2.

Congratulations! To each and everyone of the girls on a great win last night. Stars continues to rise each and every Wednesday from each and everyone of our athletes.

Based on the student responses to Mrs. Evans' survey, there will be NO tailgate prior to the LAX game on Monday. You can still come out and cheer on our friends at the game! The 7th grade baseball and softball teams play at home starting at 5pm and the LAX game starts at 5:30pm. I hope to see you there!

The seventh grade softball team remained undefeated last night by defeating Hilliard memorial 17-8. The Celts saw an early 7-1 lead evaporate in the top of the fourth inning when the Jaguars tied the score 7-7, But the Celts rebounded by outscoring the Jags 10 -1 in the final innings. The Celts play host to Marysville on Monday, this should be a really good game!! Come out and give the Celts your support!!

Want free donuts?! JTI will be hosting a food drive this week to support the Dublin Food Pantry. The homebase that collects the most items will earn free donuts. Bring items to your homebase teacher. Check the flyers around school for lists of the most needed items.

Sports

The 8th grade girls lacrosse team fought a hard battle versus Upper Arlington Jones last night which ended in an 11-11 tie. 

The 7th grade girls lacrosse team also fought a tough battle, that ended in an 11-6 victory for UA. 

The 8th grade baseball team is on a 3 game win streak after back to back walk off wins in the final at bat of the game. Our next home game is Friday at 5pm and will lead us into the Dublin Classic on Saturday! Go Celts!

Boys Lacrosse - Both the 7th and 8th grade boys lacrosse teams are undefeated going into tonights contest against Upper Arlington Jone Middle School. Tonight's game will be a BLACK OUT so come support our boys in your best all black swag and help cheer them on to another Celts victory!

Girls Track Team - Congratulations! to each girl who participated in the Dublin Davis “Joe Lenge” Invitational on Saturday. Although we got knocked down to 4th placed due to some injuries; I’m so proud to say you guys Rocked!!!

7th grade girls softball team is now 6-0. They won against Hilliard Weaver 11-0. Come watch them play tonight at Olentangy Berkshire.
