District strengthens commitment to private sector business concepts
On Nov. 28, the Dublin City Schools Board of Education strengthened its commitment to private sector business concepts by unanimously approving the hiring of Adam Shank as the District’s first Director of Strategic Planning and Transformation.

On Nov. 28, the Dublin City Schools Board of Education listened to the first reading of a policy adding a personal finance course to the District’s academic offerings.

District Sustainability Committee Focuses on Energy Efficiency and Cost Savings
The District has saved more than $3.7 million in energy costs since 2012 and continues to seek ways to operate more efficiently and save taxpayer dollars.

The mission of the District sustainability committee is to identify potential cost savings through environmental sustainability.

Heroin is a national, state and local epidemic. Our community learned more about this highly addictive and deadly drug when policy makers, law enforcement, educators, and almost 400 parents and citizens gathered in October to have a community conversation around this issue.
